The hardest part about being an ENTJ that no one tells you about. I saw another admiration post earlier today. The compliment was nice, but it reminded me of the sacrifices we have to make to become successful, and sometimes it’s a cold, sharp knife of realization that digs deep. What no one tells you is that most of us are alone.A week ago I started doing the Five Minute Journal, morning pages (google them), and I meditate for ten minutes each morning. I have always woken up at 6/7 and started work right away. Like, in my bed. I decided I had no soul a few weeks ago and missed having the sense of self I had fifteen years ago. So I'm spending time with myself, for myself.Joseph, in Genesis, very much so an ENTJ. Very successful, used his wits, climbed the Egyptian ladder, very savvy and influential. He knew what to say and do to get the Pharaoh to love him. In the end, though, with all that power and success, he just wanted to be loved and accepted by his brothers. He forgave them. ENFPs are more outwardly curious and care about perfection more than ENTJs. I once mistakenly thought a ENFP was ENTJ. They informed me they were ENFP, then it made sense. I get along with both types and can see why ENFP can be confused for ENTJ. But I've never mistaken an ENTJ for an ENFP (if that makes sense).the thing is, it's result of individual's preferences (what do you want, taste and values) so INFP are going to appreciate Te in their lives and an extrovert and feel excited about it. …The recipe for success is totally fulfilled by the ENTJ personality. They are people people - the way they draw energy from extroversion enhances their ability to network and form relationships with many influential people. They can see the big picture - their Intuitive nature allows them to think in the abstract, noticing patterns and trends ...However my ENTJ boss is cold and unapproachable. I know for me that in social situations I am very confident and enjoy watching how others react. I also find that the more people feel good around you the longer lasting your impression on them and the possible opportunities that might arise from it.Surprisingly, not usually followed with a critique, as it's more of an indicator of "I'm going to let that slide". On a more positive note, there's all the times I say "Yeah, sure", "Whatever", or "Lay it on me". I tend to be fairly open to things at first, as do other ENTJs I know.I still get INTJ on tests, but I don't REALLY relate to the type in behavior or cognitive influences as I do ENTJ. Also 8w9, LIE-ENTJ sp/sx. Personally the telling signs are that extroversion is prevalent throughout my life, and I only get into my shell when I'm under extreme stress. A lot of books are also outdated, debunked. Also the average attention span of a human being and what you can remember and how you read them is just incompetent imo.Not to say that INTJs can't lead, they can be very effective leaders, but since they on the introverted side of the spectrum there more likely to follow and observe rather than take lead of a situation. If an 8w7 set his eyes on the throne and will work hard for it just for the sake of title and power, an 8w9 wouldn't mind being on the sidelines. 8w9 are potentially power hungry only when needed, and when there's threat on their surroundings.Actually, entj are more likely to procrastinate because of anxiety. Procrastinating is a result of anxiety from „waiting for the perfect time" to execute thing perfectly. ENTJ can be procrastinating, but it's most likely because they suffer under ocd-induced anxiety rather than it's according to their ideality.I think the ENTJ may admire the INTPs more in depth logical problem solving. When they work together these qualities they respect from one another seem to balance.
