Great kit. Came raw of course, and had it powder coated gloss black. It is the 3.5" kit that allows the use of 37" tires as long as you have/buy the bumper spacer (per the kit manufacturer). So the weight difference you're talking is maybe 5-10 lbs. Carli arms really are more about bling than function. They are notched to give 1/2" additional clearance at full steering lock.
